Lead Ecommerce Stylist

The Role
ShowLabs is seeking a seasoned Lead Ecommerce Stylist to help grow and scale our styling capabilities and team. This is a key leadership role focused on elevating how our clients’ products are styled, presented, and brought to life for both retail buyers and consumers.
The ideal candidate brings experience working with leading outdoor and fashion brands, a sharp eye for product presentation, and a deep understanding of how styling impacts digital sales. You’ll be responsible for driving innovation in styling techniques and helping evolve how our clients showcase their products in high-volume, high-quality productions.
Our productions can range from 200 to 2,000 SKUs per shoot and span a wide variety of categories, including apparel, footwear, backpacks, accessories, hard goods, and equipment. Strong experience in rigging, propping, and shaping products using appropriate styling tools is essential. A problem-solving mindset is critical, as you’ll often work with unique or challenging products that require creative, efficient styling solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Creative, Client Services, and Production teams to ensure all styling aligns with client-approved art direction and production timelines. In the studio, production moves quickly and efficiently—with multiple shoots happening simultaneously. As Lead Stylist, you’ll manage on-set teams, ensuring product flows smoothly through the line, and train stylists and assistant stylists in proper techniques to achieve high-quality results in the most time-effective way possible.
Role Objectives
- Conduct market research and test new styling techniques and ideas to support the development of client-facing briefs, creative kits, and brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement styling strategies to achieve both creative goals and daily productivity goals.
- Build styling strategies and execution plans to deliver the agreed upon art direction for clients while meeting ShowLabs’ productivity and performance targets and goals.
- Style different product types ranging from apparel, footwear, accessories, hardware, and hard goods.
- Style different production types (pin board, flat lay, on-model, tabletop, and mannequin).
- Oversee outfitting for on-model productions to ensure wardrobe alignment with creative direction and efficient production flow.
- Recruit, educate, and train stylists for ShowLabs’ styling program.
- Communicate processes and standards, and oversee styling teams.
- Manage and support prep stylists to prep and sequence products for productions.
- Develop and implement wardrobe and outfitting strategies to meet client and production requirements.
- Prioritize and organize workload to follow production schedule and deliverables.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional styling experience, ideally in e-commerce or high-volume content production.
- Deep expertise in styling for apparel, footwear, accessories, and equipment brands.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a collaborative spirit.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and clear communication.
- Creative problem-solver with a strong understanding of both aesthetics and technical styling requirements.

Ecommerce Stylist (freelance)

The Role
ShowLabs is looking for seasoned ecommerce stylists. The ideal candidate has experience working with leading outdoor and fashion brands and has a keen sense for how their products are marketed and sold to retail buyers and consumers. They will be creative and inventive in generating and executing new ideas to help evolve the way our client’s showcase their products in digital and virtual environments.
Our clients’ sample line can be anywhere from 200 – 2000 SKU’s for one production and includes a range from clothing, backpacks, footwear, gloves, and outdoor gear. Experience with rigging, propping, and filling out the product with the proper styling tools is necessary. Problem solving skills are very important, as we handle a diverse range of products that require a dynamic solutions-based mindset.
The Stylist will work closely with the Creative Team to ensure the product is moving through the production line at the proper pace while meeting the Client-Approved Creative Kit requirements.
The production pace in the studio is quick, efficient, and smooth; to meet client deadlines and demand there will be multiple productions running at the same time. This person will have skills in leadership and be able to train the assistant stylist assisting them in the techniques on the production they are working on to better accomplish the desired end-look of the product being shot in the most time-efficient manner.

Image Retoucher (freelance)
Denver, CO
The Role
As Image Retoucher, you will work directly with the Post Production Manager to create and manage KPI-driven post production processes for large volumes of ecommerce product photography. This will include taking both a hands-on approach and performing photo retouching in our studio, as well as building highly detailed editing templates and specs for freelancers and outsourced post-production partners.
There will be a high level of responsibility to perform quality control, production specific onboarding for ICs as well as overseeing ICs during production (i.e. answering questions, assigning ICs to specific jobs, etc.). Maintaining a high level of color accuracy and discernment while keeping calibration profiles on the post machines up to date is essential. It is important that this person can effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external departments to provide direction, support and maintain hard delivery deadlines.
Role Objectives
- Follow style guides, internal and external client notes and information to ensure productions have been retouched to spec
- Conduct photo retouching including wrinkle removal, color changes, mannequin and wire removals, composites, framing, and clipping paths.
- Maintain strict quality control standards
- Effectively navigate our CMS to locate production related information
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Post Production field
- Advanced experience as a creative user of Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with relevant ecommerce photo and best practices
- Has detail-oriented eye for aesthetics, as well as assure quality to exact detail and delivery spec that follow all style guides
- Team player who can work independently, yet collaborate and take feedback from other team members
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast paced studio environment
- (Nice to Have) Experience in Adobe Illustrator
